Rob Granard President & Sales | Rob is the president of Westlake Electronic Supply, Inc. He began his career in 1985 and became president in 1998. |
Denis "Denny" Granard Vice President & Sales | Denny, is the son of the founders. He joined the family business in 1960. Early in his career, Denny sold electronic parts for the radio & television repair industry. Today he has focused on the broadcast industry and related markets. Denny's passions, away from the store are fly fishing, biking, cross-country skiing and being with his grandchildren. |
Matt Granard Secretary/Treasurer & Sales | Matt started at Westlake in 1990 and just won't go away. His activities at work consist of sales, audio file commentary king and general nuisance to his co-workers when they're answering the phone. |
Michael Angelier General Manager | Michael came onboard during April of 2002. His background includes several years in the audio-visual industry. As a long time customer, he is proud to be a part of the legendary customer service that is the hallmark of Westlake Electronic Supply. Michael Says: ...well, it was in original reference to the fact that you get paid when you are good, thus the cupboard being bare alluded to the concept of you not getting paid as a result of you not being good. Where's Derek? |
Mike Vincent Sales | Mike has worked for Westlake for several years. He was the purchasing agent for a commercial marine electronics company before joining our group. He has always been intrigued with "how things work". This interest helps him provide customers with product knowledge that far exceeds simple service. Mike feels that this expertise and Westlake's interaction with their customers sets this company apart from other distributors. |
Ron Winberg Shipping/Receiving | Ron is our ever-cheerful, hard working shipping/receiving powerhouse. Don't mess with him and he will let you live... mess with him and psychics will tell you, with concern, that there is a high-speed flying tape gun in your immediate and final future. |
Matthew Sajec Sales | Matthew Sajac came aboard during March 2003. Previously, he had 16 years experience in the electronic industry. Matthew is excited to be part of the customer service team that is the hallmark of Westlake Electronic Supply. |
Joe Easter IT Manager | Joe was originally hired to upload product pictures to our website in April 2004 but quickly took on additional responsibilities and eventually became WebMaster, RingMaster and then IT Manager for Westlake. Joe is pictured here in his graduation photo (top left). Joe experienced a runtime error in late 2007 and is currently re-booting. I will politely decapitate the next person that edits my profile ^_^ |
Derek Mair Purchasing Manager | Born the son of poor German immigrants, Derek started working for Westlake in 2006 after the retirement of longtime purchasing guru and all around good-guy Tony Williams. After turning his back on his family tradition of haberdashery, Derek received his degree in electronics and has worked for 17 years in the electronics repair field. But as the saying goes "you can take the boy out of retail/wholesale, but you can't take the retail/wholesale out of the boy". Derek soon found his way back into the supply side of electronics. Derek has revolutionized the purchasing department with his almost machine-like mastery of database interaction and savant-like ability to recite movie quotes. Derek focuses on the classic "Purchasing Is My Profession" method of negotiation with suppliers to enable Westlake to offer it's customers the best value. His consummate commitment to quality, no-nonsense knowledge and persistent pursuit of perfection make Derek a welcome addition to the Westlake team. Derek Says: ...I love the smell of toner in the morning. It smells like......Victory. Soon after Derek's discovery that he could manipulate the Matrix he quickly became everything and nothing then simultaneously evolved beyond consciousness. It is unclear if he simply reached this enlightened existence on his own or if help was provided. We will miss his witty additions to various auto-biographies and countless random (and probably completely bogus) movie quotes followed by the phrase "You haven't seen that?!" |
Joy Robinson Accounting | Joy started in early 2007. |
Tony Williams Purchasing/Inventory Control *Retired* | Tony has worked at Westlake for 25 years. He has held several positions within the company: shipping and receiving; inside and outside sales; and purchasing. His responsibilities included inventory management and inventory audits, plus special ordering. Tony feels customers benefit from Westlake's dedication to fulfilling product inquiries quickly with the best possible value. Sometimes this even means sending the customer to a competitor. |
